Set-Up Once you have received your shopping cart admin panel and other account information, you will be able to follow the following steps to get selling online.
a- Major Settings
Store Settings - Go through all the fields on store settings. You can select the currency, unit of weight and display texts from this page.
Shipping Origin - Select your shipping origin and enter your post code. This will affect your shipping calculations.
Tax Settings (optional) - For displaying tax costs during the checkout, create domestic and international tax percentages.
Payment Methods - Create payment method(s) accepted within your store. You can set payment options as your last task just before trading.
Shipping Methods - Select and/or customize the shipping method(s) supported by your shopping cart. i.e. real-time shipping calculations or custom shipping calculations.
SMS Options (optional) - Enter mobile number you would like to receive order alerts on.
Email - Ashop Commerce shopping cart software provides you email accounts ending with your domain name. You can access to them through webmail or choose to receive within an email program of your choice. (eg: MS Outlook)
b- Inventory Settings
Brands (optional) - Enter all brands used within your store to categorize products.
Quantity Discount Templates (optional) - Create all possible quantity discount options you will use for products within your store. This will make it fast to import quantity discounts to use for each product when you build your inventory list.
Variant Templates (optional) - Create all possible variants for every product within your shopping cart. ie size, colour, gift wrapping etc.
Categories - Create the category structure of your store. Add main categories, then sub-categories. You need to do this before you add products so you know where to place your products.
Products - Start uploading your products
c- Design and Layout Settings
Header & Footer Editor - Insert your logo or custom designed header and footer. Use text or images.
Columns Editor - Select the column boxes and column layout you wish to display.
Product and Category Layout (optional) - Customize the number of products and categories you want to display per row.
Theme Editor - Design your store from scratch with custom graphics or select a pre-created "Theme" including colours, fonts & background image etc.
Custom Pages (optional) - Add custom pages and custom column boxes, including your home page information and design.

Domain registration and/or Redirecting your domain Either register a new domain name or direct your current domain name to your Ashop Commerce store. You can also use an Ashop Commerce domain name for free.
